US DESMO Ride...
Well the weather only looks better with the high now being forecast as 68. I was going to move the meet time up because of this and then realized it is the shift to day light savings time. Don/t forget to spring ahead or you will show up and now one will be there.
I want to depart the QT gas station at 11:00 am and head to the Uwharrie Sportsman for a lunch around 12:30. Nothing fancy but it is decent food for a moderate price and in a great riding area. Goal is to be home by 4 pm. Please come early and fill up so you do not have to stop early on the ride. The total distance from the QT station and back should be around 140 miles. Non ethanol gas is available at the Sportsman.
For anyone new we ride at a pace that will be entertaining but not life threatening. If you are uncomfortable just ride your ride and we will wait for you. Better to wait on you than an ambulance. We will continue on straight but wait when there is a turn.
